I am a college kid from the East Coast. A survival horror, gore-fest film, and macabre literature enthusiast. And a crazy cat lady. This is my little world of art, film, video games, music, and horror. ***Nothing is mine unless I say it is. If you are the owner/source let me know and I will make any changes or remove the post***
Death is not the worst. There are things more horrible than death.
Some people think that horror films are some sort of second class filmmaking, and the only way to bypass that thinking is being proud of the fact that we do it. — Clive Barker
Horror is the future. And you cannot be afraid. You must push everything to the absolute limit or else life will be boring. People will be bored. Horror is like a serpent; always shedding its skin, always changing. And it will always come back. It can’t be hidden away like the guilty secrets we try to keep in our subconscious. — Dario Argento
Horror films don’t create fear. They release it. — Wes Craven
I think of horror films as art, as films of confrontations. Films that make you confront aspects of your own life that are difficult to face. Just because you’re making a horror film doesn’t mean you can’t make an artful film. — David Cronenberg
…whether its two minutes, or two days, we don’t give that up.
Starting work on my Snow (Fables/Wolf Among Us) cosplay… Almost forgot how annoying wig styling is.
First make-up test, no foundation/contour/blush, just black eye-liner to map out how I’m going to get the cel-shading look. I think I need to add more detail/expression lines on the face, but I’m worried about making it look sloppy. And I need a better black first. I also have to style/cut the bangs a bit and add a little filler to the bun in the back.
(Pay no attention to the hair sticking out, I was too lazy to put a cap on, haha) I’m not finished with the snowflakes on her blue blouse, so I wore her outfit from the funeral instead.
